Sara is a storyteller, socially engaged artist and communication skills coach. She also tells visual stories and is one of the UK’s leading kamishibai storytellers (that’s Japanese for paper theatre) and is a crankie maker and teller (they are picture scroll stories.) She uses kamishibai with her touring, street storytelling show ‘Isabella’s Story Bicycle.’

 

She performs traditional oral stories at events, libraries, museums and cultural venues for example. An experienced facilitator, she loves to bring out creativity in people of all ages across a range of contexts. At the heart of her work is bringing stories of people and place to life in a way that acknowledges rootedness and transience, local and global connectivity.

Clive PiG is a storyteller, poet and potato juggler.

His dynamic delivery of traditional and original tales appeals to young and old, making him a popular performer in the UK and beyond.

This travelling talesman has sung songs on TV in New York City, shared stories in Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, and spouted poetry at Number 10 Downing Street.

​Ronnie Conboy discovered the world of storytelling in a dark forest at the Autumn equinox some fifteen years ago, and has been chasing tales ever since. She has told stories in pubs and clubs, at firesides and festivals, in corporate boxes and on wild hillsides. She tells stories from Britain, Ireland and Northern Europe, with a flavour of Trickster, a pinch of comedy and a dash of the surreal. Ronnie also has a professional background in healthcare, is a trained coach, and uses Story in narrative coaching and NHS staff wellbeing workshops

Henry Everett is an earth loving storyteller, poet, writer, visual artist, writer/illustrator of children’s picture books and part time lantern maker.

 

He is drawn to traditional tales inspired by our connection to the land, of spirits of place and our human relationship with the landscape. 

 

Environmentally concerned, Henry tells place based tales of the magical landscape as a way to invite a deeper relationship with the landscape, inspire stewardship and connect communities.

 

Based on Dartmoor, Henry regularly performs across the South West, in schools, libraries, community and learning centres, national festivals and online.

 

He has a publishing deal with The History Press, to research and retell the folktales of the Pixies, due to be published in 2025. He is also working on a series of children's novels inspired by Dartmoor’s folklore.

Inez Aponte is a warm and vibrant performer with a background in dance, visual art and theatre improvisation. A storyteller of Puerto Rican and Surinamese descent and raised in the USA and Holland, her performances reflect the richness of a life shaped at the meeting point of cultures.

 

She has been performing solo and in collaboration with musicians and puppeteers in the UK and Europe since 1997.

 

As well as performing Inez combines the skill of spinning a good yarn with a range of tools from other arts practices to offer engaging and thought-provoking training in organisations and education.

Lisa Schneidau is a storyteller and environmentalist based in Devon. She seeks out, and shares, traditional stories about the land and our complex relationship with it, and works with creative storytelling as a way of enabling better connection with nature and landscape. 

 

Lisa tells stories for all ages at events, nature reserves, arts centres and schools, including performance storytelling and training for adults, storytelling and development within education. She is the author of three books: River Folk Tales of Britain and Ireland, Woodland Folk Tales of Britain and Ireland and Botanical Folk Tales of Britain and Ireland (all History Press).
